Korosensei is a character I hold very close to my heart...! He is the one I credit with helping me to be comfortable with self-shipping in the first place. I dabbled with this stuff when I was younger, then started to hide it and bottle it up throughout junior high and high school. But he was the first character I started calling my boyfriend again and drawing/writing about us as an adult (or well, older teenager anyway lol). He was also the first of many Matsui Yuusei characters who would change my life!! I love you Korosensei!!

He is far from the only guy I liked in this franchise but there was something especially exciting (?!) about him being unlikable and of a different position than everyone else, and I latched onto him quite a bit.

Bachira was the first Blue Lock boy to pique my interest - I thought he was really cute, and I do still like him, but my intense crush on him faded away a lot quicker than I expected to. I mean I still would. But it did surprise me how short of a phase it was!!

I haaaaate this guy!! He's so evil and annoying. I avoided playing the third game for quite a while because I knew that I would get obsessed with him, and I was right. He loves to torture my S/I, the Ultimate Matchmaker. They are not good for each other at all but they are, unfortunately, inseparable once he gets his claws into her.

I played the first two games many many years ago, and decided to rewatch a playthrough of SDR2 after I finished DRV3 for the first time. I never had super strong feelings about Souda the first time I played, but as I was designing my S/I for the second game (Ultimate Toymaker), I realized they would be a really fun pairing of characters, so I just kind of pivoted in that direction. He lowkey sucks but he has pink hair and shark teeth and that counts for something in my book.

Kiibo is really very sweet, and cute...!! I like him a lot haha. While Ouma is my main choice of boy for V3, I think that my S/I and Kiibo are actually much better for each other, lol... I think that they like each other quite a lot, and that if Ouma had not decided to get in the way and mess with both of them for fun that they might have ended up together and been quite happy.

I adore his interactions with everyone else and his slightly skeevy but always well-intentioned personality... his self-declared selfishness and ability to twist people into doing what he wants is a huge bonus of course. And he's the perfect mix of both cool and cute... my S/I starts out being very put off by him, but she can't stay away forever, and she gets caught up in his pull.

I was actually really surprised by how much I liked Laios...!! I didn't expect to come out of Dungeon Meshi with any characters I was interested in, actually. It was around episode four that I was like... wait a minute. Something is happening here. My S/I is a mushroom girl that lives in the dungeon. Laios takes a liking to her in some way or another, so she ends up following the group around, and he sometimes slices her up and eats parts of her (she is into this). Love is beautiful.

I love Narancia so much!! I didn't fall for him when I initially read the manga, but when the anime came out, I realized I liked him a lot more than I originally thought. Weirdly enough, I had both a self-ship with him as well as a ship with a completely original OC - I'm not sure if that's ever happened with another boy before! I had a lot of emotional moments with him and I still care for him a lot.

I loooove Koichi!! I haven't been crazy into Jojo for quite a few years, but there was a time when it was all I could think about, and he was one of my absolute favorite characters. I never understood people who called him annoying because I just always thought he was such a delight. I like Yuki Kaji a lot as a seiyuu and that's mostly because of Koichi!! He was the perfect mix of cute + cool to me, and I always end up liking characters like that.

Melone is the type of character that I fell for very quickly, but I kept finding more and more reasons to like him as time went on. Most of my ship with him takes place in a college AU my friend and I share, but he also had a bit of a spotlight in a Doppio-focused AU as well. I like to make him a little freak. I never really had a lot of emotional connection to him, but godddd do I like him.

I think it's really funny when he gets mad or annoyed, but then he turns around and he'll say or do some of the kindest and most meaningful things ever.
